Even Voorstellen, nice to meet you!
Mijn naam is Mieke Prins en ik ben sinds 2022 begonnen met mijn bedrijf Mission Playground. Ik zet mij graag in om het leven van kinderen van speelrijker te maken en avontuurlijker. Om die kinderen te bereiken ben ik begonnen met het lesgeven van architectuur op basisscholen in Nederland. Gaandeweg heeft dit zich uitgebreid tot kunst en architectuurlessen die ik nog steeds in Nederland geef, maar ook in Finland, waar ik met mijn gezin ook een deel van het jaar doorbreng. Het afgelopen jaar heb ik daarbij ook nog de Beroepskunstenaar in de klas (BIK) opleiding in Amsterdan gevolgd om mijn lessen nog meer mijn eigen passie mee te geven, om geinspireerd te worden door studiegenoten en om nog meer scholen te bereiken. 
Natuur, kunst en educatie zijn mijn passies, maar ook ben ik graag zelf aan het bouwen buiten en binnen. Ik ointwerp nog steeds graag tuinen, installaties, meubels en zo vermaak ik mij op mijn eigen speelse manier als ik niet aan het lesgeven ben.

Welcome to my page, Tervetuloa. My name is Mieke Prins, I'm from the Netherlands and have started my own business in 2022, Mission Playground. I'm driven to make the life of children more playful and adventurous, because the world is such a beautiful place to enjoy to the fullest when you're a child. To get to those children I started teaching architecture at primary schools in the Netherlands. This has been expanded to art and architecture classes in the Netherlands, but also abroad: Finland. Me and my family live half the year in Finland, so I figured I should bring my enthusiasm here too. Last year I did a post college program at the art university of Amsterdam to become officially an artist in the classroom. It was a very inspiring year with new classmates, newly designed and tested programs and more experiences in different schools. 
Nature, art and education are my passions but I wouldn't be inspired if I was not also building myself inside and outside. I enjoy designing gardens/ installations and furniture just as much, as long as I don't have to sit down all day every day.
